Bring Home the Magic!

Ever go home after a week long trip to Disney and wish you were still amidst all the magic? No need to wish upon a star; bring home the magic by  purchasing  your very own Disney Print.  Vision Fine Art prints beautiful reproductions of Disney’s masterpieces.  Specializing in watercolor and vintage reproductions this husband and wife team can  make your decor dreams come true, through the beauty of art.  Each print is printed on luster paper using a commercial printer.  The bold colors created by the archival inks make these prints ideal for any Disney enthusiast.  I absolutely love the vintage reproductions of Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, and Monstro the Whale.

They are much like the classical posters  that make their home along the wall  of the magical gateway into Magic Kingdom.   No matter which design you choose, it’s sure to complement any home decor.  The retro prints that Vicky so graciously shared with me are the start to my new Disney wall and add a touch of pixie dust to my shabby chic home.  Vicky and her husband Earl are dedicated to providing high quality prints and full customer satisfaction. They deliver smiles with every order!

A Dapper Day at Disney

Dapper Day is an extraordinary event that turns Disney into the fanciest place on earth, as Disney goers dress up in their Sunday best.  Although this is not a period style specific event, many guests deck out in vintage clothing- mostly from the 50’s.  For the first time in forever my children and I stepped out in style with thousands of other Disnerds and enjoyed retro fun. 15057376_363029200698880_3377859862678470656_nOur theme was the 101 Dalmatians; do the polka dots give it away?   I was going for a classy Cruella De Vil.  Don’t we look dashing?!  The Disney D brooch I am wearing is from retro queen, Kimi Babbitt.  She was super sweet and made my group Dalmatian D’s for this event.  14309962_506129446178486_4264862865199988736_nDisney D’s can be made to match any theme or character.  Kimi’s D’s add a touch of vintage class and retro sparkle to any outfit. Check out Kimi’s boutique: The Star Brite Motel on Etsy to preview just a handful of her creations.  Follow Star Brite Motel on Instagram for updates on unique custom designs.

Upon arrival we were directed to park at Magic Kingdom as Epcot’s parking lot was closed and full to capacity.  Despite the incredible crowds that were driven by this semi-annual event we strutted our stuff around the World Showcase with much exuberance.  It was absolutely amazing to get lost in a crowd of fabulously dressed Disney Lovers.  Everybody was giddy and happy.  If for only a brief moment I felt as though my children and I time warped back in time.  I can’t wait til Spring 2017!  For more information visit the official Dapper Day website.
