Looking for good eats and a striking time? Check out Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Disney Springs and get your family game on! Not your everyday bowling alley. With a mix of retro vibes and classy dining; Splitsville is redefining this popular sport. Grab your ball and let’s get rollin’.
It is recommended to reserve your lanes 24 hours in advance, especially if you have a large group. Spare me…Splitsville does offer walk in pricing, but this is not a guarantee. Lane usage is based on your party size to maximize your game and you will be pleased to know the shoe rental and bumpers are included.
Upon arrival you will check in at the front desk where you will provide names and shoes
sizes for all bowlers. Make sure to inform the cast member of any bowlers that would like to use bumpers. This information will be saved to their bowling profile. During the game the bumpers will set when the bowler’s profile requires them and drop when not needed. This is super cool! Everyone can bowl on the same lane and are accommodated as needed. Your shoes will then be placed in a basket and a cast member will guide your party to the assigned lane for your game. Take caution: the game time will already be ticking away so you may want to be fast on your feet and get your game shoes on.
Got the munchies? Splitsville is home to some of the most tantalizing “Alley Food” known to mankind. The unique menu offered is a blend of traditional and upscale offerings that will send your taste buds spinning. A few of my menu favorites include:
Splitsville’s mouth watering Filet Sliders
tangy California Crunch
and the Meat Lover’s Pizza all served fresh to your family lane. That’s right ya’ll…this ain’t your momma’s bowling alley! Don’t forget to get your drink on! Drink to your heaven’s content…I recommend the slushie in a souvenir cup!
My family and I had a fabulous time! There is so much family friendly fun going on it is hard not to. The staff is incredibly warmhearted and works hard to deliver the Disney Magic. It is just an awesome place to kick back and relax while getting a friendly game on. Thank you Splitsville for your hospitality and inviting our family to roll with ya!

Of all the beautiful photo spots throughout Disney World, one of the most popular today is the Purple Wall. The purple wall stretches from the Tomorrowland Terrace and into Tomorrowland. It is part of a hidden walkway leading guests from Main Street to Tomorrowland. When I first heard of the purple wall I was intrigued and thought there must be something special about this wall. Before knowing where it was located within the park of Magic Kingdom my children and I searched and searched. One day we stopped to take pictures at what we thought was the notable wall, just outside the bathrooms near the Tomorrowland Speedway. I couldn’t understand why so many people would stop to take pictures outside the entrance of the women’s restroom. It was quite awkward with very little space to pose while guests where going in and out of the restroom. Just the same we managed to snap a few pics and felt very strange doing so. A few visits later we walked past a much longer purple wall and realized we had found it! It stretched for what seemed like miles but I’m sure was more like 1/4 of a mile. The joy that we felt over this accomplishment! It was exhilarating!
After taking some pictures, laughing at how silly we were before, and how exciting it was to finally find this hidden treasure I sat to watch the passersby. Many walked past not noticing the beauty of it while others stopped to pose making a funny face and some with props. I could only wonder what made this wall so special? After all, it has been the backdrop for thousands of pictures and has it’s own Instagram page!
Sadly, according to cast members there is nothing special about it. It is just a wall that was painted purple in 1998. The color purple is a bright color used to express the future and replaces the old yellow of yesterday. It is a contemporary color and matches the color scheme used at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. When asked about the popularity, cast member Ricky stated, “It is an Instagram trend. Guests will take pictures for the trend.”
Trend or no trend…this wall is making history! So grab a camera and put on your best smile and join the “Instagram Trend”! Think of it as a little added magic!

Dress them up or down; no matter how you wear them make sure to meet and greet with a Disney princess or two!
Rapunzel adored the flowers in our hair and asked if we would sit and pick daisies with her in the field just a ways from her tower. She even asked if we would weave a floral crown for her hair. It is these little moments that really make your experience unique from any other.
Blue House Blooms makes a variety of floral crowns and can customize your very own to match your favorite character. Just pick the colors of your flowers and wire and Blue House Blooms will do the rest!
Here are some Disney inspired ears that Blue House Blooms have created:
It was nearly 100 degrees on the second official day of summer here in Florida, but with the opening of the NEW Frozen Ever After ride in Epcot it seems things are about to get a whole lot cooler around here. The highly anticipated Frozen ride packed in guests from all over the world making this the second longest wait time ever recorded at Walt Disney World. Wait times on opening day were as long as 300 minutes only an hour after the park opened and wrapped all the way around the world showcase. Soarin’ beats this with a standby wait time recorded at 305 minutes on New Years Eve a few years back. (Touring Plans) An unnamed cast member informed guests that wait times were actually longer for Frozen Ever After, but showed 300 minutes because that was the highest number they can display on the wait board. Sadly, I was not one of the lucky first time riders…I was actually stuck in an office working. Had I been off I would have been in line waiting at park opening just so I could go down in history as an opening day rider. I do have a Fast Pass to ride in July! Which means that I can play it cool and enjoy less then normal wait times for other attractions. Seriously, with everyone in Norway or somewhere in the world showcase waiting on line for the new attraction, even Test Track has less then a 20 minute wait!
Also new in Norway character meet and greets with Ana and Elsa!

Promise to share my Frozen Ever After experience at the end of July when I enter the wintery world of Frozen for the first time!
My children are attempting to ride Frozen Ever After today with my super awesome sister and her family.
At 8:26am this is the wait to get into the park…day two of Frozen Ever After! (pic courtesy of my super awesome sister who is waiting to get into the park!)
