One of our family traditions is to visit a pumpkin patch during the Fall Season. Each year we visit the pumpkin patch in Celebration, Florida. We have been visiting this pumpkin patch for over 7 years now and every year it is bigger and better then the year before. The pumpkins are grown on a farm in New Mexico and harvested by a Navajo Indian. They provide thousands of pumpkins each year and 100% of the proceeds go to Domestic Violence Awareness programs in Kissimmee, Florida.
Just across the street from the Pumpkin Patch you will find a beautiful home decorated as a pirate ship. The owners decorate their home every year and have been doing so for the past 5 years. They start in mid July in order to complete the ship in time for the Halloween festivities.
