What do you do when the kid races get cancelled due to a Florida winter storm? Why, go to Magic Kingdom of course! Thunder Mountain was still rolling so we did too. I excitedly proclaim that we survived the cold in the most magical place on earth. Much like Queen Elsa, the cold never bothered me anyway!!! With a few warm hugs and some pixie dust we were melting down Main Street USA. I in my adorable Dole Whip hat by Talula Crafts and my kiddos bundled up for the bitter cold we were off for a fantastical adventure, but only after capturing some fun memories in front of Cinderella’s Castle.
Needless to say we were whipping it through Magic Kingdom on one of the coldest winter days in Florida for 2017. As the day went on it got colder and the magic got warmer. This is the best time to play in the parks. There is an extreme decline in visitors; no hustle and bustle like the holiday’s, which means you almost walk right on to the attractions of your choice. This is truly the best time of year to visit Walt Disney World. Now lets get back to my adorable knit Dole Whip beanie that kept my pretty little noggin nice and toasty in the freezing 38 degree Florida Sunshine. You can find the delectable knit hat on Etsy from Talula Crafts. Topped with a cherry Talula’s handcrafted knit hat is every Dole Whip Lover’s Dream. You may also enjoy hand knitted blankets, scarves, gloves, and crochet dolls handcrafted by Jennie Kay from the heart of Westminster, Colorado the owner of Talula Crafts. This has got to be the sweetest hat yet the coolest hat I have ever worn in winter and it sure does get a lot of attention.
The Citizens of Main Street stopped me in the center of a large crowd to ask me about my Dole Whip Hat and the Dapper Dan’s played me a special tune. These guys are amazing and like my friend the Yellow Dapper Dan exclaimed…”It is never too cold for a Dole Whip! Just take it in and eat it!” Cheers to you and all my Dole Whip fans. Disney Bounding in the cold is my new favorite thing to do. Stay warm Florida friends. We have 4 more cold days ahead of us. Brrrr….these Florida winters are turning me into my favorite snowlove OLAF! Guess I’ll just have to “LET IT GO!”
