Her nose is always stuck in a book and in this story that is no different.  After the Beast surprises sweet, smart, bookish Belle with the key to his library, Belle is left with an unending desire to spend her days reading.  It is when she comes upon Nevermore, an enchanted book unlike anything else she has seen in the castle, Belle finds herself pulled into its pages and transported to a world of glamour and intrigue. The adventures Belle has always imagined, the dreams she was forced to give up when she became a prisoner, seem within reach again.   Nevermore  is a grand escape from reality and full of mysterious and charming characters, but can Belle trust them?  Will Belle forget her friends in the enchanted castle?  Is Nevermore’s world even real?   Belle must uncover the truth about the book, before she loses herself in it forever.

Beauty and the Beast: Lost in a Book is a great read for kids ages 10- adult!  An easy read that will keep audiences captive til the very last page.  Donnelly takes some familiar scenes from the animated hit Beauty and the Beast and puts a spin on them.  With new characters to connect with; love and death you will find the mystery of Lost in a Book will make it hard to put down.  If your not careful you may just find yourself, lost in a book.
