Today we honor the most stylish, polka-dot-loving fashionista around…Minnie Mouse! Minnie has been a fashion icon for decades and her dots are the inspiration behind the Rock the Dots movement that has impacted the fashion world over the past few years. I just adore polka dot patterns! Don’t you? I have created the perfect Rock the Dots look for Disney Bounding around Mickey town. This is an easy look to recreate and each piece can be found on Etsy.
My daughter is cute as a button in her Rock the Dots tee perfectly matched to a red with white polka dot skirt and a fun and fluffy polka dot bow all inspired by the one and only; Minnie Mouse.
The Rock the Dots tee is available from All Things Cute Decals for $23.99 and is available in women size xs-xl in a tank top or vneck tee. My daughter is 5’0 and 91 lbs and is wearing an XS.
This circle skirt is custom made by the great Staysi Lee who has a knack at recreating the vintage look for today’s styles. Flowy and free you will find this to be the perfect skirt for any body type. Designed to match your personal measurements, the Minnie inspired circle skirt will compliment every best part of you! It features an elastic waist and bright white polka dots on a red base skirt. Super comfy and a great way to make a statement while twirling your heart away in Disney World!
This red with white polka dots hair bow is absolutely adorable and the perfect alternative to a headband or nostalgic Minnie ears. Designed by A Fancy Finish with comfort and functionality in mind; it easily attaches to a pigtail or a bun with an elastic band. Hand sewn by Rachael Hixon and then stuffed to form the perfect Minnie bow shape. It is 100% durable and will stay in place even after an extreme ride like Space Mountain or Expedition Everest. If the band should ever break, undo the snap and replace with a new band. Minnie inspired hair bows are now available in pretty pink with white polka dots, sequined for that sparkly touch, and Chewbacca fur for an out of this world look. A Fancy Finish is the perfect finishing touch for any Minnie inspired outfit or costume.
I am wearing Minnie Ears by Beautiful Magik. Read more about Beautiful Magik and her ears in my feature HERE.
Spinning around Walt Disney World with my daughter in matching outfits was the best part of my October! It was immense fun and of course the best way to be spotted! ((corny, I know!))
Skirts, Minnie ears, and hair bow were provided to me complimentary in exchange for my honest review and feature.
You and your daughter look so cute!
Makes me wish I had a daughter to rock the dots with! This is adorable! I want to go to Disney!

How adorable are you two?! Love the look.
Omg! I alway thought it is cute when Mother and Daughter dress the same. I wish my daughter would do that with me, but she has her, style (she doesn’t like mine, lol). The outfit reminds me of the 50s, the high skirts. I love it! Thanks for sharing and I think I know some people would love the outfit!
Oh my goodness, I love this! I lived in California when I was younger and LOVED going to Disneyland with my friends and dressed in matching Disney outfits!
So, I’m a disney-obsessed twenty-something and I need that t-shirt! You two look so cute, I hope your trip was great!
These pictures are adorable! I would love to embrace my inner childhood and feel free to let loose. Too fun!
I always love polka-dot themed costumes and you both look great in that outfit, such a wonderful color combination of black & red with white dots. The pictures are quiet amazing that I want one such costume for my family!
I usually like to wear polka- dot themed costumes especially during the holiday season. I am not sure why but I have been doing that for years.
