I have been a fan of P.S. I Love Soap Co. for sometime now. I have been intrigued by delightful images of….yes you guessed it, SOAP! Pam is the artist and the owner of P.S. I Love Soap Co. She lives in New Jersey and has been making soap not just as a hobby, but because of the benefits that homemade soap offers. Natural, homemade soap is much better for your skin. Have you ever looked at the ingredients in your normal store bought soap? Most commercially produced bars contain synthetic lathering agents, artificial colors, and a slew of chemicals we can’t even pronounce. Antibacterial and antimicrobial soaps often contain triclosan. Triclosan is a toxic chemical that is known to cause cancer. You will not find these ingredients in most homemade soaps and definitely not in P.S. I Love Soap Co. soaps. When you purchase soap from P.S. I Love Soap Co. the ingredients are printed on the package. There is no secret to what you are using on your body. Pam makes all her soaps all natural with essential oils and natural coloring or with skin safe dyes and Phthalate Free – Fragrance. Translated, they are safe for your body and safe for the planet!
You can’t help but fall head over heels for her soap. The soaps made by P.S. I Love Soap Co are not just pleasing to the eye decorated with swirls of pretty colors, but they are also intoxicating and offer a vigorous scent that will rejuvenate your mind. I really like the Honey Ale bar. It offers a sweet scent and leaves my skin soft and hydrated. The sweet scent of honey ale stays with you all day, renewing your mind with every whiff. I was really surprised that just after a single use my skin felt and looked so much healthier. I am one that has to moisturize my skin with lotion the moment I get out of the shower or else I will shrivel up because my skin is so dry from using regular soap. Now I don’t have to worry about that anymore. If you haven’t I suggest you try it because you will like it!
I’d like to share a funny real life story and thoughts about the Honey Ale Soap from my 4 year old son…
I had just gone out to get the mail. I had come in with a package that tickled my nose with the sweetest aroma. My son, was already asking “what is that sweet smell, momma? Is it something I can eat?” I had unwrapped the soap bar and left it on the counter and went to get my camera. I caught my son taking numerous whiffs of it as I came back out. He said he wished it was candy cause it smells sweet like candy. He said, “mom if you use this you will smell sweet like candy too.” My daughter (9) too enjoyed the smell and said the bar was too pretty to use! “Mom it reminds me of the rich looking soaps we see in the mountains. Grandma uses them for decoration.”
