Pumpkin patch, Pirate Ships, and Owl puppets Oh My!!!

One of our family traditions is to visit a pumpkin patch during the Fall Season.  Each year we visit the pumpkin patch in Celebration, Florida.  We have been visiting this pumpkin patch for over 7 years now and every year it is bigger and better then the year before.  The pumpkins are grown on a farm in New Mexico and harvested by a Navajo Indian.  They provide thousands of pumpkins each year and 100% of the proceeds go to Domestic Violence Awareness programs in Kissimmee, Florida.

Just across the street from the Pumpkin Patch you will find a beautiful home decorated as a pirate ship.  The owners decorate their home every year and have been doing so for the past 5 years.  They start in mid July in order to complete the ship in time for the Halloween festivities.

Now for a super fun Fall craft to do with the kiddos…
